Monodehydroascorbate Reductase (MDAR)
Description
In plant cells, the rapid regeneration of ascorbic acid (AsA) is controled by both dehydroascorbate reductase (DHAR) and monodehydroascorbate reductase (MDHAR) which are a part of the AsA-glutathione (GSH) cycle.
MDAR are defined thank to a small NADH binding domain within a larger FAD binding domain.
